Favour nets
Round or square nets made from organza or tulle are used to make up favours for most special occasions including Christenings, Holy Communion, Anniversaries , Christmas Parties and occasionally corporate/formal dinners, but are usually known for Weddings!
They can be made using one, two or three layers in either one colour or more. A small clear plastic saucer can be used to contain fillings. Tied with satin or organza ribbon to match or contrast in colour.
Little flowers can also be added, sometimes with a small tag attached .
The usual filling for weddings are 5 sugared almonds denoting health, wealth, fertility, long life and happiness. Please see our confectionery section for other options.
